The Baan company was founded in 1978 and has dual headquarters in Barneveld in the Netherlands and Menlo Park in California.Its clients include Hitachi Ltd. ，Mercedes Benz International Inc. and Boeing Co. ，USA.Baan produces Enterprise Resource Planning software that provides supply-chain management at every operating level，using the Baan IV product line.This has five main components：

· Applications including Manufacturing，Finance，Project，Service，and Transportation;
· Technology.
