成人高考英语作文写作原则：

多利用长短句

如果我们把短句放在段首或者段末，也可以揭示主题：As a creature, I eat; as a man, I read.Although one action is to meet the primary need of my body and the other is tosatisfy the intellectual need of mind, they are in a way quite similar.

强烈建议：在文章第一段(开头)用一长一短，且先长后短;在文章主体部分，要先用一个短句解释主要意思，然后在阐述几个要点的时候采用先短后长的句群形式，定会让主体部分妙笔生辉!文章结尾一般用一长一短就可以了。

一二三原则

好的英语作文一定要条理清楚。考官们看文章也必然要通过这些关键性的“标签”来判定你的文章是否结构清楚，条理自然。破解方法很简单，只要把下面任何一组的词汇加入到你的几个要点前就清楚了。

1)first, second,third, last/firstly, secondly,thirdly, finally/the first, the second, the third, the last(一般推荐，原因：俗)

2)to begin with, then,furthermore, finally/to start with, next,in addition, finally/first and foremost,besides, last but not least(强烈推荐)

3)most important of all, moreover, finally

4)on the one hand, on the other hand/for one thing, for another thing(适用于两点的情况)

词汇升级原则

英语作文不像汉语作文那么长，100字左右的发挥空间，所以要在有限的时间写出吸引老师的句子;最常用的方法就是使用丰富多彩的词语和短语。写作时，试着用尽可能多的高级词汇和短语来替换普通单词。

例如：good替换为beneficial，remember替换为keep in mind that。简而言之，尽量使用高级的单词和短语。这将使你的作文在简单的单词基础上提高至少3 - 5分。

从句原则

要吸引考官，词汇和短语是不够的，还要灵活使用从句。在考试中，使用短句可能使你的作文没有错误，但同时失去出彩的机会。在作文中适当运用一些句式，如定语从句等，可能会有额外的加分效果。但需要注意的是，不能一直使用分句，这样会造成审美疲劳。所以，最好的方法是短句和长句的结合，在短句之间适当地插入几个从句，这样作文就会显得高级一些。
