Financial Gain Should Not Be the Most Important Factor in Choosing a Career
A person’s financial status is becoming increasingly important in today’s world of rising costs. Many people choose their careers based on financial gains, and these people ignore the other important factors that play a critical role in building a successful career. In my view, financial gain should not be the only factor to be considered in choosing a career.
In my opinion, a person’s interest in an area is a crucial factor that helps to build his career. Unless a person likes the work, he won’t be able to grow in this field. Most of the successful people are the ones who choose their careers based on the field of their interest. For example, the great Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, left his school at the age of 10 and started playing cricket. It was his interest and his passion for cricket that make him grow so much in his career that he is no considered a role model by most of the Indian youth. Also, take examples of Bill Gates of Steve Jobs, they opted the career they always wanted to. They opted the career path they liked most. And eventually they excelled and reached to the highest altitude of corporate world. How they could manage to make so much money? Is it because they opted for a career in which they saw high amount of financial gain? Probably the answer is no. They opted the line they liked the most for that they even didn’t complete their education.
In conclusion, we should not regard the financial gain as they only factor in choosing a career. We should consider some others respects like individual interest in the job.
