Why We Study Interesting People
The life of an interesting person is worth studying (study) for three reasons. First, he is someone we recognize. His 1
(contributic) have had a great influence on our culture. If we are part of a culture that 2
(recognize) such people, we should know something about them.
Second, interesting people are 3
(attract)We know their names. And we want to know more about them. So it makes sense to spend a few minutes 4
(learn)about them just to satisfy our 5

Finally, it is important to study interesting people. It is because 6
(do)so has a positive effect on our own lives. When we learn about people whose 7
(strong)allows them to become truly great, we are inspired to develop 8
(great) in ourselves. When we learn about people whose 9
(weak) causes their own downfall(垮台) ,it 10
(help)us to understand our own faults and, indirectly, to live our lives as well as we can.
