【参考译文】Emotional Quotient (EQ) is not the opposite of an IQ. Some people are lucky enough to have both in abundance, while others have very little of each. What researchers have been trying to understand is how they complement each other: for example, how a person’s ability to cope with stress affects their ability to concentrate and use their talents. Most of them agree that IQ accounts for a certain percentage of success, while the rest depends on other factors, from one’s social status to luck and even the neural pathways that humans have evolved over millions of years in their brains.
