Students'Purposes of Reading on Their Mobile Phones

What we can see from the pie chart is that most students use their phones to gain knowledge which accounts for 59.5%In addition, killing time searching information and other factors take up 21.3%17% and 2.2%respectivelyThe following reasons contribute to this phenomenon.

On the one hand,compared with computers, mobile phones are smaller and more convenient to take and use. Thus,a growing number of college students learn and search for information by phone. On the other hand,there are so many entertainment applications on phones that students spend a lot of time on it to kill time.

I,as a college student, am convinced that students shouldn’t spend too much time in reading on phones to kill time, which may confine them to low efficiency and poor abilities. At the same time, we are not supposed to stare at mobile phones for a long time,which may harm our eyesight and lead to shortsightedness.
