考研英语作文报告格式范文

考研英语的小作文是一种应用性短文，字数约100词左右，包括私人和公务信函、备忘录、报告等。小作文都有着一定的写作模板，所以考生复习时，最好把每一个类型都练习一下，然后背诵几段经典的示例，这样考生能在考试时更加顺手顺心些。

(1) 写好一份报告，撰写人首先要对所要写的内容有充分的了解。写作时，应尽量多用被动语态，少用第一人称，以免主观、冒昧。

(2) 一般英文报告都可采用书信格式。

(3) 报告要有明确的中心思想、清楚的段落层次和合理的结构安排。

Two ships on the Yangtze river collided in thick fog not far from wuhan. One of them, a timber carrier, was coming down the Yangtze. The other is a national ferry which is sailing from jiujiang to wuhan.

But because of the bad weather, the captain didn't realize the danger until a few seconds before the collision. As a result, there was no time to avoid the accident.

Fortunately neither the crew nor the passengers were hurt, but the damage to the ship was considerable. A shipping spokesman said an investigation team would be set up to thoroughly investigate the cause of the accident.
